My Background & Experience
I hold a Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution from Nova Southeastern University. For more than 25 years I have walked with couples, families, and organizations as they moved from conflict toward reconciliation — grounding my work in Judeo-Christian principles alongside the best of modern research.
I created the Conflict Analysis Tool I use with couples, and I have taught master’s-level students in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, served as an Approved Educational Provider for the National Board for Certified Counselors, and am a Certified Facilitator for Prepare-Enrich. I have written dozens of articles and am the author of Hope in the Face of Conflict: Making Peace with Others the Way God Makes Peace with Us, and I have been interviewed more than 20 times on radio and television.
